Welcome to the Midday

Located in historic Normaltown on Prince Avenue in Athens Georgia for 18 years, Marti's at Midday is a locally owned gourmet cafe tucked away in an 86 year old house serving up delicious sandwiches, salads and nibbles with a southern twist. We're open from 8am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday as well as offering catering for that special occasion.

Our restaurant's cheery dining area, sunroom, and large patio offers a place to relax and enjoy your company as well as your food. In April of 2020, we lost our founder Marti Schimmel and it was her fervent wish that we continue her legacy of delicious food and southern hospitality served with a kiss.
